The turtle hatching isn't happening. The notice pops up but the event doesn't occur. What happens when the bug occurs? No turtle hatching starts What do you expect to see? I expect to see the flags up and the baby turtles crawling on the sand into the sea. I did see the turtle hatching once when I got IL. I've since added packs and the turtle hatching doesn't happen now. Just a notice that's it's about to start but it never does. It seems common on the Sims Forums that hatching isn't happening for a lot of people. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. The event was working at one point but now never works. I only get a notice the hatching is starting, but it never does. I've gone through at least 3 cycles of the turtle hatching not happening. Create a club with your university enrolled sim as the leader, make sure all sims in the club are enrolled in university 2. On Foxbury Campus, go to Maritime Manor. Use bb.enablefreebuild to change the affiliation to that club 3. Move your sims in 4. Wait for roommates to spawn. What happens when the bug occurs? No roommates spawn. Not even after multiple sim days have passed. I have tried changing the affiliation while my sim lived in the housing during the term, when they lived in the housing on the first day of term, and then I tried changing the affiliation prior to moving my sim in, it did not work in any of the scenarios. What do you expect to see? I expect the members of the club to spawn in as roommates since the housing is restricted to only members of that club. Sims are able to listen to music fine when woodworking, crafting on the robotics station, painting on the easel, and using the juice fizzer. The dogwood trees in the world of Brindleton Bay are all green saturated, only those place in the world. The one in Build/Buy catalogue is of the right colors, normaly red tronc and soft green leaves. Notes: I only put one picture of one swatche comparision, but all the 3 swatches of that tree placed in the world have issues of colors, whether it be the leaves, the branches, the trunk or simply the overall tree. What do you expect to see? The dogwood trees in the world being of the same colors as the swatches in the catalogue and not having that saturated green color all over the dogwood trees. For werewolves, there are two Beastie Boogie options instead of one Beastie Boogie and one Cowpoke Dance option. What do you expect to see? This isn't a game breaking bug but more of a nuisance. For werewolves, there are two "Beastie Boogie" dance options instead of one "Beastie Boogie" and one "Cowpoke Dance". Werewolves can do the "Cowpoke Dance", the problem it is labeled as Beastie Boogie instead of Cowpoke Dance. Here is what I see for werewolves when trying to select dancing options. Interestingly enough, if a werewolf is in the confident mood, they'll have the dance options show up (including Cowpoke Dance). As I said, this isn't game breaking in the long run, just more annoying. If I want my werewolves to dance normally, sometimes they break out doing the Cowpoke. And while that is a fun dance to watch, it does not always match the music (i.e. metal, alternative, spooky, etc.). This doesn't affect any other occults (from what I can see), only the werewolves. [IL] Mermaid can't pee in the ocean/No bladder failure

No I have a merman sim who had a low bladder, I took him to the ocean because he was in a club gathering and I didn't want to bother getting him to a toilet and I knew sims could pee in the ocean, except he didn't. The bladder remained at max and the option that used to exist to pee in the ocean didn't appear. Even with the lowest bladder (which normally causes an auto-failure and makes the sim pee in the ocean) didn't do anything. I don't know since when the bug is occurring, but it's a feature that I miss, I haven't tried peeing in pools.3KViews2likes5Comments

It will be necessary to purchase an item to get a furnished value to appear. What do you expect to see? Some value for furnishings to remain to complete rental. I guess this was because it showed $0 as the value of the furnishings. I entered in build mode, found very nice furniture present, so I deleted a couple of items from the closet and added the new vanity with a chair. This caused a small value for furnishings to show up and enabled renting furnished. Got into that great view apartment with furniture showing a value of less than $600, lol. Steps you took for Issue to occur Was trying to move sim in when I discovered no furnished option. Checked description more carefully and saw no value shown for furniture. Picture Didn't take one. Where does the bug occur ? Save existing prior to installing VG. Mods/CC Vanilla game. Expansion Packs/Game Packs/Stuff Packs All content released to date. My two married sims have a 100% relationship and friendship status, but they don't change from being lovers, they won't become soulmates. The man from this marriage had already had a soulmate relationship with another sim, but this sim has already died, before she passed away they stopped being soulmates because my sim asked her to keep the friendship. What happens when the bug occurs? The married sims don´t become soulmates. What do you expect to see? The married sims should become soulmates. Neutral/Not Sure I'll try to narrate what I've done with my sims. First I created the female sim named Carolina, she lived alone for a while. Then I created the male sim named Rafael, he was placed on a home next to Carolina´s. They met when Rafael moved in, they started going out and then they moved in together. I tried to accomplish the "Serial Romantic" Love aspiration for each sim. Rafael achieved the soulmate relationship with another sim, but after completing all the milestones he asked that soulmate to keep things like friends, so they stopped being soulmates. Carolina also completed the Serial Romantic aspiration but never achieved soulmate with anyone. Now they are both married but have never achieved the soulmate status. I expected to see a slot for trash cans like the other changing tables that came with Growing Together. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not anymore. I've removed all of them. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No. This is a new object in the game. The changing tables that came with Growing Together snapped together with small trash cans so that when the infant is changed, the diaper immediately goes into the trash can. However, this changing table doesn't work the same way. Glitch or by design? It has to be a bug. It seems weird that they would remove that functionality on purpose. Added Eco Lifestyle to my game My non freelance maker gets calls reminding them to take another gig; in this case the sim getting the reminder is a toddler & this call came right after his mom completed a gig (his grandmother is also a freelance maker, but neither the mom nor grandmother got the call) I have got this in another save, but I think that time the sim getting the call was a teen and it was his young adult sister who was the freelance maker. I'm not sure if I've ever noticed it with other freelance careers. Also I have not had mods in my game for months, have never used custom content, I regularly repair my game & delete my localthumbcache file every time I play. Neutral/Not Sure I'm not entirely sure but this may have started after the patch on 18 September. Also, to be clear, I tested this in a new, unmodded save, which I can provide if needed. I first tested with Nani Kealoha (toddler). She had Communication level 3. So I used this cheat... stats.set_skill_level Skill_Toddler_Communication 2 The level did not change. However, I was able to use the cheat to increase the level to 4. Then, I tested skill cheats for several sims, including a Young Adult, a Teen and a Child. For each, I found that I was able to increase their skill levels but I was not able to lower any. This is especially impactful for players who use the skill cheat as a workaround for achieving Toddler milestones, when the skills advance from infant age up to toddler. It might be worth mentioning that in a modded save, I was able to use the UI Cheats Extension mod to lower skill levels. Thank you for your time and attention! After traveling to a new lot, progress for writing the song has been lost / reset to zero. What do you expect to see? Progress for writing a song should be saved until the song is completed, regardless of travel or any other circumstance. Neutral/Not Sure I first noticed this issue after the latest update. However, it's been a while since I had a sim write any songs. So I don't know if it was happening before the update. Since it was a modded game, I removed mods and deleted the localthumbcache.package file. The issue persisted in the clean game, as well as a New Save without mods. I tested writing songs on the guitar, piano and violin in the New Save and also two books (Children's and Short Story). I tested writing lyrics only on the guitar. The below video was taken from the first unmodded save; note the "items removed" message upon arrival to the new lot. The video shows "write song" progress at one location that is lost after traveling. I can share either save if needed. I do not have a video for the books and lyrics writing but both behave in the same manner. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Load a saved game or create a new game. Move a sim to evergreen harbour in conifer station an apartment or house doesn't matter. Vote for modern development. Apartment you can play in transforms and turns modern but the other apartment blocks around it stay the same. Otherwise the other houses shells modernise when the time comes, the train station also modernises as does the yellow flower ground. Just the apartment shells don't modernise. They look completely out of place and they USED TO MODERNISE. What happens when the bug occurs? The surrounding apartments does not modernise along with the playable apartment block that does modernise. What do you expect to see? It fixed and to work like at launch back in 2020 when the decorative fake apartments around the playable apartment block transformed and modernised. When I modernise the development in Conifer Station in Sims 4 Eco Life Style for the PC the playable apartment block will instantly modernise but the surrounding fake apartment blocks do not. They used to back in 2020 when the game came out. Throughout the week the rest of the map will modernise, the train station will change, the decorative fake houses also will change, the ground will get flower petals. Isolated to just the fake decorative apartment buildings surrounding the real one which SHOULD change and they used to!! Please fix this. I got rid of mods, turned it off in settings. I tried with a brand new game. Still didn't help - it's a bug. 🙂 Thanks. EDIT: I tried with a new Sims 4 folder - still the issue persists! EDIT #2: Also worth investigating is that when you transform Conifer Station up the stairs to the train tracks that gets renovated with a garden and some cute chairs and table. Those chairs and table disappear after a few days. Don't know if loading in another lot like the community garden or maker space is what makes them disappear but they appeared and are now gone. Every time (100%) What is your current game version number? 1.77.131.1030 What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All but Home Dec, Cottage Living, and kits. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just zoom up and closely look at the area between the head and neck. What happens when the bug occurs? This has actually been an issue since the beginning of TS4. I just haven't noticed it because I used to play at lower resolutions, and now I am playing at 4k. After going back to see the older screenshots when I used to play the game at 1920 x 1080, they are still there but a little harder to see because of the lower resolution. What do you expect to see? It would be nice to see the developers smooth out the skin texture so that it looks better blended. I really like the default textures. It is fixable because when testing custom skin textures, a lot of them seem to blend nicely and you can't see that seam in between the head and neck like you can with the default textures. Yes Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No Below is an image that shows the issue. In between the head and the neck, there is a noticeable seam. Depending on the lighting and animation/or pose, the seam becomes even more noticeable and sometimes looks like there is a completely dark line circling in-between the area of the neck and head. Again, this is an issue since the release of TS4 based on looking at my older screenshots. I just never noticed it until recently since playing in 4K. It's also present in other people's screenshots.
