Save Outfits in CAS
I scrolled a bit through other posts to see if something similar was mentioned but couldn’t find anything at a glance, so hopefully I’m not spamming! I think it would be great to have an option to save created outfits in CAS to a catalog of some sort to be able to go back and quickly choose those outfits again for your Sims or if you wanted to apply the same outfits to other Sims. Ideally, it wouldn’t be specific to one Sim or save, just a general “Saved Outfits” space. I know something similar can be achieved through mods, but it would be so much easier to just have this option built into CAS mode because having to find all the same clothing items can be a pain. Thanks!14Views2likes0CommentsCan we have more unnatural skintones?
Since there's warm, neutral and cold skintones with endless options i want to have a lot more options for unnatural skintones too We only have some gray, red, blue and green skintones but i want other colours aswell like purple, orange, pink, yellow and other variations Awhile back i asked for more eye colours with a possibly sliders can we have more eye colours options? | EA Forums - 11895483 you can check it out for some ideas which eye colours they should add but i've always thought about unnatural skintones aswell so here it is, the skintone part of CAS The Sims 4 exist for 10,5 years (soon to be 11 years once September arrives) and still so little options for unnatural skintones, this must change! edit: i just added something new which is CAS related Can we have more hair colours? (and maybe seperate things in other categories?) | EA Forums - 12138359116Views4likes5CommentsUpdated Neighborhood Stories (marry, divorce, join+create another household)
Currently, while Neighborhood Stories allows for some changes like having babies, adopting, retiring, and moving in or out etc. there are a few important features missing that would help families grow and evolve naturally. Here are some features I would love to see added: ▪️Marriage: Sims should be able to marry autonomously, even if the player is not controlling their household. This would allow families to continue expanding without the player’s direct involvement. ▪️Divorce: Sims should be able to autonomously divorce if their relationship status changes. This would allow for more realistic family dynamics. ▪️Moving Out & Creating New Households: Teens and young adults should have the option to leave their households and create their own households, even without player intervention. This would allow Sims to continue to live their own lives, meet new Sims, and start their own families. ▪️Joining Another Household: Sims should be able to join other households, either through marriage or through other life changes. This could give rise to new family combinations and interactions. These additions would help make Neighborhood Stories more dynamic and allow Sims to live fuller lives without the player constantly managing every household. Sims could form relationships, start families, and grow old without needing direct control, allowing for organic development of family trees and more immersive storytelling. By adding these options like “Get Married,” “Divorce,” “Move Out,” “Join Another Household,” and “Create Another Household,” The Sims 4 could bring a more realistic experience of life for all Sims, even those who are not being directly played.420Views17likes7CommentsOption to turn off 'Emotionally Mindful' - or make it a trait.
I think the game needs more opt-in, opt-out control. Things like "Stop calling me asking how I can dictate your life", or "Stop messaging me whenever I meet a new friend or get a promotion". But above all, I hate, HATE, the emotionally mindful moodlet from Snowy Escape. Doing literally anything calm? Ok cool, your moodlets are worthless; you're forced to be 'fine' all the time. Yes, it has a payoff. But I perhaps don't want to work towards a 12 hour buff that might impede me later. Yes, it's shunted to the back while you do high-intensity things. This has effectively made a lot of my sims and their respective routines and careers worthless unless I can micromanage their time 100%. Why on earth was this not a trait, like practice makes perfect? It's awful when you spend money on content you didn't have, only to discover the game's worse for it.147Views3likes14CommentsPack Ideas!
These are not something that I think should be acted on immediately as theres a lot more to be worked on in other areas of the game before getting new stuff in my opinion, but even so i have a few stuff/game pack ideas! Firstly, Sports! I think it would be really nice to have a pack that adds some big sport items into the game such as tennis courts, volleyball courts, golf and stuff like that, it could also be a chance for more cute workout CAS items to be added, which i think are kind of lacking. Secondly, Bands! I know a lot of people have been asking for this and it's for good reason! I try to make fake bands a lot in my gameplay, usually by just creating a group from get together, but its hard to get everyone to play at the same time especially when your bandmates are in other households, I think it'd be really fun if there was some kind of set "stage" item like how it is in The Sims 3 Showtime, where you can set what instruments every sim plays in the band and have them practice/ perform a song together, there could be tie-in with the get famous fame system and some cool stuff with having to work on your bands relationship to be good or it'll break up, also the stage could have various options of a more garage band practice style stage to a big rock band performance stage and all the things inbetween. This pack could also obviously add new instruments such as drums, saxophone, electric guitar and way more. I feel like it'd make sense for the vibe to focus on a kind of smalltown rock band aesthetic for CAS and build/buy because I think thats what most people envision when you say bands, but of course sims could have any music genre they want. Thirdly, Arcades! When I got the new businesses and hobbies pack one of my first ideas for a business was a cute arcade for my sims to visit as its something ive always wanted to have, but theres only really one 'arcade' machine type item which is super big and i couldn't really find anything else that fit my idea, i tried to put a tv with a console, voidcritters and the vr game mats but it just didn't work, i think it'd be cute to have a fun stuff pack (Or it could even be just a kit I suppose...) that adds arcade machines and other stuff that fits in with that, pool tables, slot machines, maybe even a prize counter! Complete with the iconic arcade carpet and 80s themed build/buy/cas i think it'd be a super fun pack that would be fun for children-elders, there could even be something for toddlers? Thanks for reading, I know this was a lot! 💚39Views1like3CommentsNew Voice Types, Accents, and Improved Singing Voice
If a band-themed or music-focused pack is in development for The Sims 4, it would be a great opportunity to improve and expand the voice system for sims in basegame. Currently, adult Sims only have 3 voice types, and they tend to sound repetitive over time. I’d like to suggest the following additions to enhance immersion and variety: New Voice Types – Add at least 2–3 new voice options for both male and female adult sims to increase diversity and reduce repetition in sim interactions. Accents – Introduce 2–3 distinct accents (e.g., British, Afro-American, Australian, etc.) that players can apply to their sims’ voices, making each character feel more unique. Singing Voice Matching – Currently, all Sims use the same singing voice regardless of their actual speaking voice, which breaks immersion. It would be amazing if singing voices could reflect or at least better match the Sim’s chosen voice type.96Views7likes2CommentsFree Kits for Culture/Diversity
I’d like to suggest the idea of offering free cultural kits to bring more diversity and representation into The Sims 4. These kits would be free for players to download and could feature a variety of items from different cultures. Here are some ideas: 1-Turkish Kit Recipes like Lahmacun, Baklava, Kebab, Turkish Delight and Turkish Coffee Items like a Turkish Coffee Pot (Cezve) Traditional clothing and accessories 2-South Asian Kit Recipes like Biryani, Samosas, and Chai Cultural clothing such as sarees, kurtas, and turbans Decorative items like Indian lanterns and rugs 3-Arabian Kit Recipes like Shawarma, Hummus, and Falafel Traditional headscarves and kaftans Middle Eastern-inspired furniture and decor items 4-African Kit Recipes like Jollof Rice, Ugali, and Plantains Traditional clothing such as Dashikis, Kente cloths, and headwraps African-inspired decor items like woven baskets and wooden carvings 5-Iranian Kit Recipes like Fesenjan and Persian Saffron Rice Persian rugs and tapestries Traditional clothing like long robes, scarves, and Persian jewelry 6-Mexican Kit Recipes like Tacos, Tamales, and Mole Cultural clothing such as sombreros, ponchos, and colorful dresses Decorative items like Day of the Dead skulls and piñatas 7-Japanese Kit Recipes like Sushi, Ramen, and Mochi Traditional clothing such as Kimono and Hakama Items like paper lanterns, bamboo plants, and tea sets 8-Italian Kit Recipes like Risotto, Pasta, and Gelato Traditional clothing like aprons and casual Italian summer dresses Tuscan-style furniture and decorative items 9-Greek Kit Recipes like Pastitsio, Souvlaki, and Tzatziki Traditional clothing such as Chiton, and Greek sandals Mediterranean-inspired items like olive trees, stone columns, and decorative pottery 10-Caribbean Kit Recipes like Chicken, Rice and Peas, and Rum Punch Cultural clothing like tropical dresses, sarongs, and linen shirts Beach-themed decor items, colorful wooden furniture, and island-inspired accessories These kits would be downloadable for free, allowing players to choose which cultural content they want to add to their game. This would be a fantastic way to celebrate diversity and create a more inclusive and globally diverse Sims experience.193Views9likes6CommentsWHY in Business and Hobbies can we only sell items placed on special shelving??
I just found out that in order to sell anything in this DLC, it must be placed on the provided shelving units. I own Get to Work, and in that pack you can mark items for sale regardless of what they're placed on. Why is this not possible here? I specifically bought this DLC to sell repaired electronics, handmade furniture, and similar items. I’m extremely disappointed that such a basic feature—selling items—is this restricted. There are so many crafting and repair activities in the game now, but they don’t work with the business features of this DLC. What’s the point of adding all this content if we can’t even sell it properly? Please fix this. This is not just a missing feature, it feels like a major design oversight.113Views3likes10Comments
