Console graphics adjustment loading screen
When is the graphics adjustment issue on console going to be addressed? I had to completely stop playing a save I've played since console release and now it's happening on my build saves and the new family save I started after not being able to play my old one. I thought it was due to it being a long played save but the one it's happening on now is on generation 2. After the adjustment, background items are blurry. I'm on a PS5, there's zero reason for graphics adjustments and Sims is the only game that gives me problems. This has been happening since the update for and release of Cottage Living
Crashing after Update 2.12
This has only begun after the latest April update console v 2.12 -- I've not had any issues with crashing during traveling or CAS entry prior to this. Playing PS4 Sims on PS5. Please do not attach my ticket to anything prior to April/ May as this is a separate issue!! I have most but not all expansions, playing on PS5. To clarify this only happens when traveling to a new lot, and/or when editing character. The game will crash, I restart and redo steps again, this time saving prior to, then it works again normally until the next time I attempt to either travel or modify in CAS. Latest patch notes mention fixing a crashing issue for Business expansion, it is likely related. Attached my saved data.Sims 4 camera and extending roof on only one side
I am on PS5 and have always bern able to use the sims 3 camera, but i can no longer enable it. I can’t even find the button for it anymore… my other problem (also on ps5) is that i can’t extend the roofs eaves on one side, when i press x and square and extend it, it will extend just the one side, until i “place” it, by pressing x, then it just extends both sides…
Llama icons
Ever since getting the new pack Businesses and Hobby’s my game hasn’t been running right with sims turning blacked out and save files deleting themselves so I uninstalled the new pack which fixed that issue but now Llama icons cover some of the world maps and I can no longer build on them.Green smoke on Toddler
With just one of my families. After changing my toddlers diaper and clothes. The green smoke still remains. I have bathed her numerous times and it won’t go away. I also tried “reset object”on her and it still comes back. On a separate note I am also having trouble with my game crashing when I try to access the refrigerator. First it will not open the selectable options yet on other items clicked on the menu will open immediately. After the options finally pop up it will crash my game. Each time. It occurs randomly during gameplay on my console after a few hours. What happens when the bug occurs? In the middle of gameplay the game stops suddenly and I get a blue loading screen with spinning plumbob and a message that says "We are updating your graphics settings so that you can continue to enjoy playing The Sims 4". What do you expect to see? If there is something I need to change on my console settings myself, I expect it to tell me what to do to avoid this happening. I haven't changed any settings myself and can't find any mention of this message anywhere affecting others. I've done a console reset twice and reinstalled all my content twice. I've power cycled numerous times. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used. It started a few months ago around the time I started to get a lot of crashing on save and exit and sometimes on travel or CAS then eventually on loading too. I already mentioned this on the feed about crashing on save and exit but it was suggested the 2 things weren't linked. It started after installing cottage living if memory serves me correctly. I'm extremely unhappy with the stability of the Sims 4 especially after purchasing a next gen Xbox specifically for this game after my Xbox one couldn't cope with all the content I had, it works fine for it's new owner with several games installed. I've had months of crashing on my brand new console and the feed on that subject has had no serious engagement from the Sims team, I've even reached out directly. I'm trying to get to the bottom of it myself but a lot of the research I'm doing mentions that graphics issues can cause crashing. So I want a definitive answer from devs or someone on the subject. I've spent so much money but every day I have issues, it takes 3 attempts to load my game now and I often have to restart my console in the middle of loading as it freezes. I play around 4/5 hours every single day. The 2 things did start around the same time so instead of putting up with the message I'm trying to get it resolved. If there is something that I need to change on my console to avoid this then I need to know, I've had enough of it now. If it's not linked to crashing then ok, that needs investigation for all of us separately as we have already reported. But everything I'm reading says graphics issues are a big factor in crashing. Bundled Packs Question
Hi, so I purchased the Base game + Eco Lifestyle bundle used from GameStop.... however it didn't come with an activation key. Do The bundles not come with activation keys or did GameStop fumble? When I called them they couldn't find the activation key and instead gave me the phone number directly to EA offices which is clearly just a bot telling me to input my parties extension. otherwise, if there's no activation key, my console isn't auto starting this game or downloading. Can I get help or some advice? BC there's no other way to contact EA for support. There's no code on the inside cover, nowhere... and please forgive me for my ignorance BC I've not purchased a Sims Console disc since Sims 2 & recall the PC discs all having activation codes. Please help, as I purchased this used game 7 days ago from GameStop which is the limit to receive refunds on used items.
